The Academy is committed to international collaboration and, since 2005, has hosted several meetings and workshops for representatives from the international dietetic community to share their questions and concerns relating to the NCP and Terminology.  In 2012, a small group of international representatives were invited to form the International Workgroup, a subcommittee of the former Nutrition Care Process Committee (NCPRO).  The workgroup represented eight countries and two international federations and served in an advisory role to the NCPRO Committee until 2025. Thanks to these international efforts, worldwide NCPT implementation has increased dramatically.

NCPT is currently being used or taught in diverse locations including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Greece, Iceland, France, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

The terminology has been translated into 10 languages: Portuguese (Brazil), French (Canada), Simplified Chinese (China), Danish (Denmark), Italian (Italy), Spanish (Mexico), Norwegian (Norway), Swedish (Sweden), German (Switzerland), and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).  Translation information is summarized below, and available to all eNCPT subscribers.  To learn more about how your country can translate the content of the eNCPT, contact [email protected].
